A puppy from a one-pup litter is called a “singleton”. Puppies need littermates to develop good social skills as well as certain aspects of their physical development. Our reproduction vet introduced us to a lab breeder who was at her clinic and suggested that our “Baby” be placed with a foster mom. It was a difficult decision but we did it and are grateful to Albrecht Labrador Retrievers for helping us raise this pup. You can follow Baby’s first 8 weeks here! Blanche is doing just fine here at home with her gang at Gabriel’s!
